Default Re: Shawn and Mike's Cigar review- 5 Vegas "A"

Yeah, this wind is making it a little less than idea for a big-gauge smoke like this one. It's probably about 58-gauge, and my personal preference is to save those big ring sizes for nice, calm weather.

Now, I know 5-Vegas isn't super well received in some circles, but I have a fondness for them. The first cigar I can really remember having a few years ago that made me go, "Hot dang! These cigar things are pretty good!" was a 5-Vegas classic (with the red wrapper) and I still hold those in a fairly high esteem, although I know they aren't always considered to have the pedigree of some of the competition.

But, as a Wise One once said to me (ah,hem, Scott!), "smoke what you like and like what you smoke."

So, yeah, well, I tend to like 5-Vegas.

Now, with that out, last time I had one of these black-label A-Series smokes, it was NOT good for me. That means I'm coming into this one with a little trepidation....
