Father's day pairing, Chimay blue and an Allones Extra, turned out to be a great combo.

I certainly would think so....I have had both this year and when I saw the pic, I thought, "hmm, good choice."
Not gonna vote for that stick as cigar of the anything, but I bet it sucks 50% less with that beer, haha.
I enjoyed the one Bill86 gave me, but not twice the price more.

Brad, you nailed it. That beer made the cigar suck so much less it was actually enjoyable. I guess you need something really strong to coat your palatte & drown out the musty cardboard

It'd be unfair to come off sounding like I didn't LIKE it, it had the two aspects I enjoy most in a cigar.
1.) Free 2.) Cuban......plus it DID have some redeeming qualities, I enjoyed the light twang and tea flavors
and the F'ed up wrapper was less obtrusive than normal, IME.
