Fun trip to the Dr today

So I've been feeling a little sluggish for the past 10 days, constantly coughing and my ears are plugged up. Decided to suck it up and finally go the my Dr and I'm glad I did.

After a series of the usual tests he tells me they need X-rays of my chest which caught me off guard, butno big deal. 15 min later he returns to my room and informs me I have strep. No big deal, get it 3-4 times a year. Along with strep I also have bronchitis and pneumonia and he laughs when I tell him I've been working outside in the 105* heat. He was surprised I hadn't fallen out yet.

So 2 shots and 5 prescriptions later I should be back and running in ANOTHER 7 days.

Wow, that's rough. Never had any of those much less all at the same time! Ouch. Hope they get you feeling better quick.

Do you seriously get confirmed strep 3-4 times year? I'd hate to have your immune system.

Yep I can normally tell the Dr when I have it, but I was wrong this time.

Normally I don't get anything but strep, I never get the flu or colds

We have been seeing allot of Pneumonia here in FL. Glad you caught it early. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

I feel you on the Strep, I used to get it at least once a year when I was in my Teens, my mom would have me gargle with Vinegar or some other sort of home remedy. Invariably it didn't work and finally when I couldn't eat or drink anything she'd break down and take me to the Dr for some antibiotics. It was hell.
