At 47-47...the Mets are in danger of dropping under .500 for the first time in a few months. And to think we were 6 or 7 games over .500 for this long. At seasons beginning, I'd thought we'd be 15 games under by now.

Santana takes a trip to the DL.

For all the talk about how well the Mets are doing this year, believe it or not, they had a better record this time last year, than they do now!
On this date, last year, the Mets were 1 game over .500.
Don't worry Mac, there's plenty of time for the Mets to get 15 games under!
