You think Kershaw deserved it over Dickey? Or are you just breaking balls?

If Kershaw would've won the award, I wouldn't think it was an injustice. He finished second in the voting. It's not like I'm here saying Cliff Lee should've won. Do I think Dickey deserves the Cy Young? Yes, but he was not a run away, lock for the award, winner, the way Verlander was last year. And obviously, neither was Kershaw. The reasons I favored Kershaw: I think the Dodgers had a worse offense than the Mets. They're the one national league team I keep a close eye on, due to Donny baseball, and without Kemp, they're awful with the stick. They were carried by their pitching. The other big reason I was in the Kershaw camp, I think he finished stronger than Dickey. Dickey had a monster first half, but I always give an edge to someone who's surging, rather than fading. I'm happy for R.A., and I do think he was a Cy Young caliber pitcher this year, just not the only one! ![]()

I can get that Dom. The Met offense was fairly horrific at times. I watched most of RA's games this season, and the guy was pretty much the only reason they won more than 65 games this season. He put them in position to win every start but 1. How many guys can say that?
