Decent Place in Long Beach

Hey all I have a friend that will be in Long Beach in a couple of weeks and she's looking for a nice place to have dinner and a couple glasses of wine without spending her retirement savings. Any locals have places they would recommend, I think things like King's Fish House might be a little on the steep side as it were. I'm guessing anything would be fine with her, meat and potato, fish, raw fish/sushi, etc.,
