Well, I never claimed it was a review. I'm not big on the "hints of cedar in the first third" type of deal. Partly, because I forget... and then also because it takes me a few tries to really know how I feel about a cigar. I think a lot of it is subconscious; A few days later, I find myself thinking about a cigar and wondering if I should get some more.

Construction was good. The wrapper is interesting to look at at, light and kind of mottled, which I find intriguing - you can't really tell in the pic, because of the strobe. It had an interesting profile, definitely some pepper and woody notes, while still retaining a drier, lighter gestalt, rather than "hit you over the head" spicy. I liked the balance of spice to smooth, without the attendant acrid buildup some sticks get. It also built nicely on its strengths, weaving the pepper, spice and wood into a rich smoke by the end, rather than sinking into the rather woody start and deteriorating.
