Where's my buffaloooo ...

Nice work on the review. I wish I could feel the love you guys have for these, but I just don't like them. The DPG Blue's -- love 'em -- but the Cuban Classics I find to be neither Cuban (tasting) nor Classic. Buth then again, I don't like blueberry pie either, so go figure.

This is the only cigar in the line I don't care for. Like you mentioned, it starts out nice and spicy then after a third it goes away and I can't taste anything after that. It's the only Black Label I experience this with.

I've had the Perla & the Robusto sizes ... neither do it for me. But that's not to say they're not a decent cigar. Just not for me.

I like the others but this small one really stands out for me.

Down the stretch

I happen to be in the midst of smoking one of these right now. I'm about an inch in and it still has quite a bit of peppery spice. First Black I've had in a while. So far so good, I'll probably post some final thoughts in a bit.

I tried one of these, and found it to be almost like smoking almonds, with some woodiness thrown around in there, not a lot of spice, but straight up almonds. I got bored with it needless to say, but the construction was perfect. I may need to give these another shot, especially considering the price.

Having just finished one I agree with the strong pepper in the first third. It does mellow after that but I find it pleasing. The rest of the cigar was good just not as dramatic. I'm new to this and have trouble with some flavors. I've had a few of these now and liked 'em quite a bit. Not my fav but still solid for me. The only issue I have is the mulitple touch ups.
