I'm a bit partial to the Sierra Nevada offerings, especially the Hop Hunter..... And I'll never say no to a good ol' PBR

Will be enjoying some Harpoons in about 3 hours, heading into the Harpoon Fest at the South Boston brewery tonight, hopefully it will stop snowing.

Had a few Murphy's Stout yesterday. Not bad, but not my favorite.

Good beers Saturday....a crapload of Black and Tans. Bad beers on Sunday....312, Corona. No beers today. Bad beers are better than no beers.

Had a 2010 Allagash Belgian Stout. What a difference a few years make. So smooth with the flavors not as brash as when it was new. The carbonation seemed finer with better lacing than I remember when first trying it (in 2010). Did not taste any part of the 7.5% alcohol either. Great beer

Had a 2010 World Wide Stout a couple weeks back, it was fascinating, tasted very little like a fresh one, it was more of a subtle fruity taste similar to a barleywine. Didn't taste anything like its 18-20% ABV, didn't really taste any alcohol on it other than a little after taste. Very different from the syrupy texture of a fresh one. My roommate found it at a local beer store that was clearing out their cellar, he paid a premium on it but it was well worth it. I wish we had more

I have 3-4 more Allagash's. Costco had them for cheap at the time. Also bought some Delirium and St. Bernardus at the same time. The Delirium need to go through cheese cloth. The St. Bernardus are too strong just for me. The Allagash can be drunk like a regular beer.
