Glock started out using serial numbers with a two letter prefix, then a three or four digit number. So flash forward from 1984 to 2017, they now are up to four letter prefixes.
So, why did I mention this? Because yesterday I bought a model 17 with serial number "ACME***". Step aside Wile E. Coyote, that roadrunner bast*** is all mine now!!
