There are six B&M's that I visit here in town, so I get to hear a lot of the "I had a guy or woman come in here and ask for" stories. Here are a few.
1) All you sell in here is see-gars? You ain't got no smokes? 2) Where are them psychodelic see-gars? You know them ones with A-cid on them. I like them cause they taste good. 3) My husband wants me to pick up some of those Florida Olivo cigars for him. 4) Can you chew that pipe tobacco? 5) I want to buy some cigars for my husband, but I can't remember which ones he smokes. I think it starts with a R. Cashier says, Rocky Patel? No, she says. Romeo y Julieta, says the cashier. No, I think I'll call my son he'll know. She proceeds to use her cell phone. She comes back up to the cashier and says, He said any of the R-turo Fuente's will do. |

I once heard a guy in my local B&M ask if they carried Donny Thomas cigars. I guess he was looking for Don Tomas. The owner said, no we no longer carry Donny Thomas cigars and sent him to a drug store to ask them if they carry the brand. LOL I nearly shared myself.

I have to keep mentally kicking myself to prevent saying it that way. It's weird how you get something "wired" like that and can't get rid of it. Luckily, I haven't talked about a "Ciao" to any one who knew the difference.....
