Try one now, then another in few months, then another in a few more months and so on. You'll be able to see for yourself the progression or regression for this particular cigar.

It's really a matter of preference. I usually give mine about 6 months to a year before lighting the first one of a batch. I've smoked many, many Opus and my preference is a year of hybernation. My
