Robert's idea might work...a lady online selling flasks with a manufacturer's warranty against spills (not my eBay flask of course how different can these things be?) suggested drinking a leaky flask quickly, and then sending it back for a replacement.

For ten bucks, I can afford a leak if it arises, and I've learned from any future mistakes
