MTS April: Orlik Golden Sliced

just broke the tin, gonna give it a whirl in a few minutes, will post my thoughts afterwards

alrighty

smoked a flake in my new bjarne (which is apparently a great VA and flake pipe)

This was very reminiscent of Dunhill's Light Flake, but without the soapy hint

it was sweet, naturally so, with a kind of fruity/honey sweetness, vs the figgy sweetness of darker VA flake like FVF. smooth cool smoke (especially for a VA), nice "room note"

not much evolution throughout the bowl, but consistently good the whole time

I'll be looking forward to the rest of the tin
