I despise Manny for dogging his way out of Boston but it seems here that his problem was not taking the list of proscribed drugs to his doctor and not running the prescription he was given by MLB. This would have generated a therapeutic use exemption which would have prevented this situation. Hope that other players learn from what happened to Manny.
