Cigar everyone has had?

I wouldn't go to the Hemingway line, though AF might be the line to choose.

AF Chateau

Have had many Padron 2000, 3000 and the odd 4000 & 5000.

What about others - Punch? La Gloria Cubano? Saint Luis Rey?

I've had several different Padrons, only one Short Story.

I would guess some kind of Macanudo since that is what every B&M gives to their new smokers. If they count probably also something like a Swisher Sweet or Backwoods.

I think my first cigar smoked was a Macanudo Hyde Park back in 1995 or so.

I have never had a AF Short Story but I have had some of the Padrons. I have, and do have, some RP 1990s. Another possibility is a Punch Rothschild.
