Hmmm .. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glenn_Danzig I'm familiar only with 4, 5, and 6 on your list. We came to the conclusion that Johnny was a great man, great entertainer, but not on the list. Roy Orbison made it. Elvis, interestingly, didn't even come up. The King of Rock, but I suspect it may be analogous to the King of Pop.

Other thoughts?

I dunno about "great", but my favorite male vocalists are: LEMMY, Tom Waits, and Howlin' Wolf. I wouldn't add them to the list of Greatest male vocalists though.
