Today is a sad day. Joe Sakic has announced his retirement. Always loved watching him play. He is my favorite kind of player, just a stand up guy and a great team player. I'm going to miss having him in the league.

Joe will be missed for sure. It was great watching him for the last 14 years here in Colorado

Blackhawks GM Dale Tallon fired today. Looks like the last of the Wirtz era regime is gone.

I didn't like DT, he seemed to make contracts that were a little too lengthy. But I agree that Stan really has no true qualifications to be GM.
