Me thinks they need to increase your meds here!!

I like ants. The big ones. They taste like sweet tarts. I have never tried crickets or grasshoppers, however, and they may indeed match a cereal much better than ants. I think it might also depend on the type of cereal, granola would be a much different choice than Crunchberries or Golden Grahams, for instance.

Tobacco Beetles with Grape nuts. You probably wouldn't even know they're in there.
