Compact flash card gone bad?

In a post a few weeks ago, I'd asked about flash card problem I was having with my camera. Ferdinand (Don Fernando) responded:

Thank you very much Ferdinand. Way above and beyond. All of the cards work, btw. I'm very much looking forward to trying the cigars you sent. I've been in a bad cigar rut lately and am looking forward to something new.
