I built mine (SNR/CO) [Salton Nut roaster/Convection Oven]right before my back surgery. I knew I would have all that off time to learn to roast.....

Regrets on the departure of you old friend. By some miracle my old Galloping Gourmet keeps working; I think it must be into it's 5th year. I could suggest ebay cruising for a GG but, fact is, you don't hear about COs of any brand crapping out very often.

What's your next move? Retirement?

Maybe Resispa will start a Hottop roaster pass and let us all enjoy his?

Seems unfair to hoard such a nice thing.

I'm kinda surprised my Freshroast has lasted this long as I haven't paid much attention to the warning about letting the roaster cool off between roasts and have overfilled it more than once to get darker roasts.
