![]() A Hobgoblin Dark English Ale & an Illusione Epernay Le Grande. Not a bad combination, but the leathery/woody Epernay could have benefitted from something sweeter--maybe a stout or barleywine. And what's with the 11.2 oz beer? I got gypped out of 0.8 oz!

Here's my pairing from the weekend: a CAO Black while cooking up my world famous turkey bone gumbo!
