Take a look at your avatar Patrick. You have a lot to be thankful for, and you Dad would want you to be happy!

Some years back I started making everyone at the table on Thanksgiving, one by one as we ate, take turns telling everyone what they were thankful for. The first year or two the kids would make a joke about it and say something stupid to get laughs. As time went on and they matured the response began to get more and more insightful, meaningful and heartfelt. Its a great time to share the true meaning of family and sometimes learn something about them you never knew before.

Take a few moments to share the memories and before you know it you just may find yourself smiling and sharing who the man was.
