To each their own! I was just about to comment on my enjoyment of the texture of that pic. Use of "lo-fi" equipment does not negate one's artistry- a tool is a tool is a tool. I fail to understand how a glance at this member's photo can inform you of how "well planned" that photo was.

To me, there is no "art" in just taking a quick picture of a cigar simply resting on an ashtray. I consider the term photography as "art" or high quality. I'm just trying to encourage him to take a more artistic approach to the photo. I don't mean to come off as an elitist about it by any means though...
