And for the record, I think it was a lousy shot that got helped along; not a pass. That's how the Cardiac Pack rolled back then.

There were a string of weird games back then. The year before there was Fred Brown's pass to James Worthy, then two years after the Cardiac Kids was 'Nova's near-perfect game against the Hoyas. There was three of the NCAA's most memorable ten championship games, all within four years.
