I actually started this back in December when I started getting serious about cigars, and finally finished it about a month ago. I made a lot of mistakes (first time using veneer), but it's functional and looks good from a distance!

Hi Mike. First off, great job. 2nd, I work with veneers all the time. Let me know if I can be of any help on future projects. Just wondering, it that Anigre or curly Maple? Either way, nice figure on the wood. Congratulations on a job well done.

Very nice! My first one looked like a small casket. For days the kids kept asking what I knew about the dog that they didn't
They still call it busters casket! They do taste better stored in a humi you built! Chas |

Thanks for all the compliments guys. It does feel different when you open up your work to get a stick.
Bill, the veneer is tiger Sycamore I pick up at the Woodworks show a couple of years ago. And I appreciate the offer of help Bill, I will take you up on it next time I work with veneer! Mike |

What a gorgeous piece of work. Regardless of the errors you made, I'd be proud to show that bad boy off.
