I can only assume that if you are eligible for an upgrade to 3GS and/or 3G, that you could also upgrade to iphone 4 once available.

It says: As a valued customer, we can offer you an upgrade with a new 2-yr commitment and waive the $18 upgrade fee.

Ya, but it's poop. The lowest order of iphone is $49.00 at their site.
I think the $18 deal is for some other phone I don't want. To upgrade my 32gb 3gs to ANOTHER 32gb 3gs, it's $199.00. I can't even get a taste of the 4.0 yet.

It's true. Generally, if AT&T is waiving the $18 upgrade fee, you are out of contract now. And yes, if you can upgrade to a 3Gs, you can upgrade to a 4.

Oh, and preorders start tomorrow!
