Why is it people love pissing matches but no one provides any facts?

From Wikipedia:
60s AFL Jets 8-0
70s Dolphins 14-6
80s Dolphins 11-9-1
90s Tied 10-10
00s Jets 13-7

Throw out the 60s and it's a wash.
Neither "owns" the other.

Throw out the '70s and its not a wash... Why throw out anything?

Throw out the 60s and 70s and it is 32-28-1 Jets. I would hardly call that "owning the Dolphins for decades".

I don't think there's a team in the NFL that gets more grief and controversy
than the JETS.
