The deterioration of the plastic hinges could be an issue if the cooler was sitting out in the sun and cold -- exposed to the elements -- for an exteneded period. Somehow I don't think that is an issue with a coolidor

You're gonna l ike that cooler for cigars. I recently switched out all my old coolers for half
as many C.E.s. They work better than 48's in that they play Teetris a lot better and they
seal nicely and there is some concave in the lid, on one side at least. I 48'ed myself to death
on the constant theory that I would never buy any more cigars....OK, just a few of these
boxes on sale. New ice chest. Repeat when not even necessary.
