Pick up a tin of Westminser. Virginia's and Latakia. A great blend but the flavors aren't that complex. Would be a good blend to get a taste of latakia.

Also with reading reviews, opinions are very subjective. Many pipe smokers who have been in the game for a long period of time, might perceive a medium blend as something light. I know I am guilty of this at times.

Or maybe post a WTT thread offering a tin of a person's choice for a selection of english / balkan blends. I did this in the past with exclusively aromatics.
