#49 Build - Curly Maple & Purple Heart Humidor

Purple heart is also fairly soft as I recall...very soft.

I had issues with my planer knives being too dull (fresh knives, had less than 100 board foot of light use on them!) so I had to get a new set. 200 bucks down the drain.

Actually... it's very, very... hard.... They use it for flooring in South America..

Probably wasn't PH I worked with then. Whatever it was, it was soft.

Just glued this one up today.... coming along nicely... Purple doesn't look as purple as before due to it be "saw dusty" from sanding.... it'll clean up real nice...
