The founder of CAO Cigars, Cano Ozgener, passed away last night/this morning. Quite an interesting man.

I'm sure there are members of this site who knew him personally, perhaps they can fill in this thread with more details about Mr. Ozgener.

Never met him but loved CAO in the day and he was one of the early rock stars peddling crappy infused cigars with the flavorette girls. Then he actually started making good cigars peaking with the Traviata before selling.
